You're right, the first one was great. I liked the others, because I like the way Larsson's mind worked.

Re: finished reading: The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet’s Nest

Shari,

I know I'm late on this but I just loved The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. It's one of my favorite books. I didn't like the other two as much but I still read them. You're not alone in wishing there were more stories!

Re: finished reading: The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet’s Nest

Hi Jane. Welcome! You're not alone. I have quite a few friends who never read them. I actually had to push myself to start the first one. But early on in the book it took hold of me. If you do read them, I hope you enjoy them too.

Re: finished reading: The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet’s Nest

I may be the only person who has never read these books. Clearly, I should rectify that soon. Visiting from She Writes. Your review may be just the push I needed.

Re: finished reading: The Girl Who Played With Fire

Hi Kelly! That's a very strong response to just demand that you find yourself and get your life back. It worked, so it was a good choice. How ever we are able to move forward, silencing fears or using them, is a great thing. Congrats! Thanks for visiting and sharing your comment.

Re: fight the power no more

I guess it would depend on the dispositional change itself. Major dispostional changes can be, being involved in a relationship for instance. In that case, I remember going through a time where I felt like a part of me was taken away and I wanted it back. I believe it was my pride. I remember trying to find myself, as I once was and thankfully I did. I did everything I loved doing, I found time, I did things I never image I could do, it was no longer I can't but I will and I will not fail, I was no longer fearful, I faced my fears and I became stronger-stronger than I ever was and there I found myself and moved on.

Re: healthy habits: 7 exercises for writers

It's common for the words to slow down for us when we've been working for a long time at one sitting. You may even feel yourself getting clumsy with the keyboard. When this happens, you are usually overtired and you need to wake up.

Re: Private: a new arena: web design

wow, keep it up! there's always a room for improvement and always think of yourself as an empty cup that's always ready to be filled with new ideas and knowledge. The questions you pose are great for focusing on the good things. And you're right. There is always something positive to be found in difficult situations.

As for the "read more" setup: I'm obviously partial to it. Sorry it's so off-putting for you. It's something that I thought about before I started using it, and decided that it works for me because I'm a skimmer and not a fan of endless scrolling.

Re: healthy habits: 5 lifestyle areas to review

Hi Jaime. One thing I find in a difficult work situation is to ask: "Where's the lesson for me?" "Where's the gift?" There's always one, if I just look hard enough. Things are difficult for a reason, and there's so much I can learn about myself. And then, yes, sometimes things have got to change.

Re: healthy habits: 5 lifestyle areas to review

This is a pertinent post.
